I read this article in Wired a couple of months about a contest to improve Netflix’s rating and recommendation system by 10%. Apparently, it is nearly impossible to accomplish, but I would just like to point out the faults in the 5 star (and the words attached to each star) system.

“Choke” is finally coming out and is starring Sam Rockwell. I thought this was one of the most cinematic of Palahniuk’s books after “Survivor” and “Fight Club.” There were definitely a lot of camera elements already written into it, especially in the hospital where Victor Mancini’s Mother lives.

I just remembered this today.
Ted Levine gave an amazing performance in “The Silence of the Lambs.” He is spot-on in his portrayal of Jame ‘Buffalo Bill’ Gumb. Enjoy.
